Role Description This is a full-time on-site PhD Position for Optimal Sensor Placement for Smart Sewer Monitoring at Deakin University's Geelong campus. The role will involve conducting research, developing and implementing sensor placement strategies, and analyzing data for smart sewer monitoring applications. Skills and Qualifications Knowledge in open-channel hydraulics Experience in conducting research and data interpretation Strong programming skills, such as Python or MATLAB Knowledge of smart sensor technologies and IoT systems Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Experience in civil and environmental engineering or related field is a plus Master's degree (research) in Engineering or a related field is preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
