PHYSIOTHERAPIST FULL TIME: Are you a Physiotherapist who wants to embark on a career Full Time in Private Practice and kick-start their career as a Sports Physiotherapist with involvement with a Football club? Where: Palm Cove Physio in the Northern Beaches of Cairns is in the heart of the tourist town of Palm Cove in Far North Queensland, Australia. The area has many attractions including the Great Barrier Reef, the Atherton Tablelands, and the Daintree Rainforest. The Practice: The practice was established just over a year ago and is growing quickly. We focus on professional, patient-centred care, evidence-based treatment approaches, and a supportive work environment focused on Sports & Manipulative Physiotherapy. The case load includes musculoskeletal conditions such as headaches, neck & back pain, and post-operative rehabilitation. Who are we looking for? You will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating clients with various musculoskeletal conditions. If interested, you may work with an AFL Football Club for up to 10 hours per week, gaining valuable Sports Physio experience under the guidance of the Practice Principal. What we’re offering the successful candidate: Supportive environment with administrative assistance to enhance your focus on patient care. Ongoing professional development, including: • Weekly 1:1 clinical training and mentoring sessions• Monthly in-services• An annual CPD allowance of $5,000• Annual Salary $70,000 - $90,000• Superannuation at Government Guarantee level of 11% Key Responsibilities: Deliver healthcare to an excellent standard at the club during training sessions and on game day. Communicate effectively and compassionately with players and clients. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and AFL Club officials. Participate in regular education sessions and stay up to date with the latest evidence-based treatment approaches. Qualities and Qualifications we are looking for: Appropriate qualification in Physiotherapy. AHPRA Registration & Professional Indemnity Insurance. Valid driver's license and personal vehicle. Current First Aid and CPR Certification. Work VISA/Residency Status to work in Australia. Desire to be an excellent physiotherapist committed to professional development. Ability to thrive independently and as part of a collaborative team.
