Calidus Resources Limited are a gold exploration and development company who operates the Warrawoona Gold Project located near Marble Bar in the East Pilbara district of Western Australia. After a short operational pause, exciting changes are underway as we embrace new management and look to ramp our Warrawoona project back up to full production by March 2025. With a bright future ahead, the Warrawoona Gold Project is expected to have a mine life of initially 5+ years with significant potential to further resources within the region. About the role This role would suit someone who enjoys working with a small dynamic team with outdoor hands-on tasks. Roster: FIFO 15:13 from Perth Tasks and Responsibilities: Ore block markouts and supervision of ore mining Grade control RC sample collection and laboratory submissions. Survey set outs and pick ups using DGPS equipment Drill rig supervision and support Sample analysis using portable XRF The Candidate The preferred candidate should have the following: Previous experience as a pit technician in open pit mining. The ability to work with minimal direction. A willingness to get out into the pit and get your hands dirty. Current C Class drivers licence.
