About the Role As a Planning Administration Support Officer, you will play an integral role in providing exceptional administrative and technical support to the Statutory Planning Department. Additionally, you will provide professional advice and contribute to the continuous improvement of the unit. The Planning Administration Support Officer will: Provide and maintain an effective and efficient administrative system for the processing of Planning Applications, Scheme Amendments and other related matters and assist in the achievement of team targets. Utilise database systems for timely management and tracking of Statutory Planning data along with software or systems updates from suppliers or Information Management Services (IMS). Deliver high levels of customer service to external clients and the general public to support effective and efficient Statutory Planning operations in person, by email and on the telephone. About You You’ll be an experienced professional with exceptional writing for web and socials, good judgment and excellent time management skills. You’ll be friendly and build your network across Council quickly. You’ll have a passion for data and look for the insights about what it’s telling us, and make recommendations about what we should do next.
