With our headquarters in Perth, Western Australia, and operational bases in Dampier, Cape Lambert, Carnarvon, Abbot Point, Geelong, Sydney, and Whyalla, we are committed to transforming the delivery of marine solutions. Engage Marine has been awarded a long-term licence to provide towage services in the Ports of Cairns, Mourilyan, Lucinda and Townsville, Queensland commencing July 2025. Position Overview We are looking for an experienced capable Port Manager for Cairns and Port Captain for Townsville to join our dynamic team. This role will be primarily responsible for ensuring that the Port Operations are delivered successfully, in line with the scope of the port licence and customer contracts as well as meeting agreed targets for operational performance. Focused on supporting a new operation for Engage Marine, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance, fostering employee engagement, and collaborating with leadership to achieve operational objectives and goals. Reporting to the North Queensland Manager, you will work closely with business units across all of Australia. This role will be based in our Cairns and Townsville Offices with travel to other sites as and when required.
