Practice Manager / Practice Operations Lead Opportunity: Practice Manager / Practice Operations Lead Join our dynamic team in a pivotal role within a growing surgical practice, primarily based in Woolloomooloo ( with operational oversight of our Kogarah ( location. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead and optimize operations, enhancing both patient experience and practice performance. Position: Practice Manager Employment Type: Full-time (38 hours/week) Salary: $120,000 per annum Start Date: Immediate Primary Location: Woolloomooloo (full-time) Key Requirements: Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a practice management role, preferably within a surgical or medical setting. Knowledge: Proficient understanding of Medicare, Private Health Funds, DVA, workers' compensation, and CTP processes. Skills: Experience with theatre list coordination in both public and private hospitals, and managing procedures performed in a private clinical setting. Competencies: Strong leadership and organizational skills, ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, and proficiency in healthcare management software. Key Responsibilities: Business Operations & Leadership: Streamline workflows and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Lead staffing, training, and performance reviews. Oversee patient experience, including appointment scheduling and satisfaction. Collaborate with bookkeeping on payroll, invoicing, and financial reconciliations. Produce monthly financial reports, track revenue projections, and manage cost breakdowns. Oversee accounts receivable and ensure efficient debt collection processes. Drive strategies to increase patient bookings, referrals, and overall service offerings. Coordinate marketing initiatives to bolster digital presence and patient engagement. Identify and implement opportunities for practice improvements and expansion. Staffing Oversight: Assess and manage staffing requirements to optimize practice operations.
