Principal Communications Officer - Capability - Central Office This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced communications officer to join the Education Futures Institute, Capability branch, in the Queensland Department of Education. Your Role The Principal Communications Officer: oversees the development communications and planning to support the implementation of the Education Futures Institute and related programs and initiatives leads the program of work comprising the development of strategic communications, graphic design, development key resources, materials and collateral; works collaboratively with stakeholders and staff to develop high-quality communication materials; and provides high level advice and support to senior officers and contributes to the development of effective communications aligned to branch objectives. About You The ideal applicant will have the following key attributes: experience leading and developing strategic communications and resources a team player with excellent interpersonal skills to support teams to deliver program objectives strong project management skills with ability to manage competing priorities enjoy working within a diverse team to deliver outcomes and make a positive impact in education.
