Principal Consultant Culture and Leadership Organisation: Queensland Corrective Services Department: People Capability; Statewide Operations; Brisbane The AO7 Principal Consultant, Culture and Leadership provides expert advice and guidance to senior leadership statewide to support the positive and behaviourally based building of a professional, respectful and ethical workplace culture. Utilising a key account consulting model, you will be responsible for building tactical divisional relationships with its line management while also designing, delivering, and implementing a portfolio of QCS wide programs and services aligned to the QCS Culture Action plan, including its focus on uplifting leadership capability. To enhance service delivery and strengthen the breadth and depth of Culture and Leadership subject matter expertise, the role will rotate annually through new key accounts to expose the principal consultant as a practitioner to a variety of needs and leadership styles. The Principal Consultant works in partnership to build a capable and resilient workforce. In this role, you will: Fulfill your role and responsibilities in accordance with QCS values. Define, design, develop, deliver, and evaluate behaviourally oriented strategies, policies, and procedures relating to organisation-wide culture and development. Develop and nurture productive tactical relationships to ensure Culture and Leadership unit initiatives are effectively aligned and integrated for organisational success. Undertake strategic intelligence gathering in relation to potential systemic organisational issues. Research, assess, critically analyse, and trend data and information gathered through a range of elicitation techniques. Prepare and present high-quality and timely reports, correspondence, and briefings, ensuring a professional standard of documentation for all stakeholder groups. Support other QCS culture-related initiatives to ensure ongoing alignment to the 5-year QCS Culture Framework. Collaborate with subject matter experts through working parties and other stakeholder consultation activities to understand complex workforce matters and co-design innovative, future-focused, and evidence-informed solutions.
