Principal Consultant - International Education Branch: International Education Division: Public Schools Planning Salary: Level 7, $128,077 - $136,891 per annum (pro-rata) (PSCA 2022) This is a permanent full-time position commencing February 2025 DREAM DISCOVER LEARN The Department of Education has a long history of providing education to international students. We have welcomed students from around the world into our schools since the early 1980s. As a key priority of the State Government, we are committed to supporting the development of the international education sector in Western Australia. Our schools form a key part of the sector, providing education to international students at the beginning of their educational journey. The Role In this role, you will support the implementation of key initiatives and strategies of the Department’s International Education Program. You will work closely with stakeholders to establish and strengthen partnerships in key offshore markets, engaging in high-level liaison and maintaining robust networks to promote the Department’s international education objectives. This role involves conducting research to assess trends in international education, performing data analysis to drive improvements, and developing risk management strategies to address emerging challenges. You will contribute to the design, development and facilitation of professional learning programs and resources for schools. A key aspect of the role involves the preparation of reports, policy, briefing notes, correspondence and Ministerial communication.
