Base pay range A$130.00/hr - A$145.00/hr Co-Founder & Contracts Director @ Nuage Technology Group Long term contract High daily rate Nuage have exclusively partnered with a large Financial Technology Business in Sydney. The mature team is looking to bolster the next wave of Cloud and DevOps Excellence by bringing on a Principal DevSecOps Specialist contractor to join their team on a rolling 6-month contract, based in Sydney. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Mentorship: Manage and mentor the DevOps, Platform, Infrastructure, and Security teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence. Strategic Planning: Shape and drive the overall architecture and strategy for DevSecOps frameworks. Framework Maintenance: Ensure all frameworks align with best practices and remain appropriately maintained. Standards Compliance: Collaborate closely with DevOps and Security teams to meet regulatory standards such as APRA and ISO. Tech Stack & Environment: The organization operates within a Microsoft-centric ecosystem , including but not limited to: Infrastructure as Code (IaC): ARM/Bicep Scripting & Automation: PowerShell Development Languages: C# Ideal Candidate: Proven experience in a leadership role within a DevSecOps environment. Strong knowledge of DevOps, Platform, Infrastructure, and Security practices. Expertise in managing Azure-based environments. Familiarity with regulatory standards (APRA, ISO) and ensuring compliance. Excellent communication and mentorship skills to guide teams effectively.
