This starts with recruitment and selection. About the School Coowonga State School works alongside other nearby small schools and is located in a beautiful setting surrounded by bushland. We are six kilometres from the Pacific Ocean and the nearest township of Keppel Sands, making it an ideal school for those who love rural areas plus access to the coast. The school enrolments fluctuate from between 12 to 20 students from prep to year 6. The small school environment allows staff to successfully deliver a curriculum that caters for the diverse needs of every student. The central focus of the strategic plan is full curriculum entitlement for all and student and staff wellbeing. There has been significant energy invested in early years literacy practices and teacher aides support the teaching principal to deliver structured literacy routines. About the Role Please note that subsidised teacher accommodation is not available with this role. As the Principal, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited, to the following: Lead the school community in developing and committing to a shared vision focused on quality learning outcomes for all students.
