The front of the school offers a stunning view of the azure Whitsunday waters and nearby islands. We are located between the Hayman Island Marina and the Resort. Our school was first established in 1956. The Hayman Island Resort owns and maintains the school building and grounds. The students attending Hayman Island State School are all children of staff working for the resort. We are a small, caring and welcoming school community. Our wonderful teachers, a Teaching Principal and Early Childhood Teacher, operate two classes and have high expectations of student learning and behaviour.
