The front of the school offers a stunning view of the azure Whitsunday waters and nearby islands. We are located between the Hayman Island Marina and the Resort. Our school was first established in 1956. The Hayman Island Resort owns and maintains the school building and grounds. The students attending Hayman Island State School are all children of staff working for the resort. We are a small, caring and welcoming school community. Our wonderful teachers, a Teaching Principal and Early Childhood Teacher, operate two classes and have high expectations of student learning and behaviour. About the Role: You will have responsibility for leading the following activities and delivery of the following key tasks: Lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students. A mandatory requirement of this role is: Current full registration, or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland.
