We are seeking a dedicated and highly experienced school leader to step into the role of Principal at Indooroopilly State High School from Term 2 of the 2025 school year. The Opportunity The Principal of Indooroopilly State High School is responsible for providing strong and inspirational leadership to staff, students and the wider school community. The successful candidate will champion high expectations for all students, drive continuous improvement in teaching and learning, and build strong relationships with parents and the community. The responsibilities will also include: Leading and inspiring a committed team of approximately 350 staff delivering world class educational and wellbeing outcomes for students across Years 7 to 12. Promoting a culture of high expectations and achievement for all students, including those with diverse learning needs. Demonstrating strategic, collaborative and empathetic leadership in a large and complex urban setting, while driving continuous improvement in all aspects of school operations. Fostering a positive and inclusive school culture that values diversity, equity and respect. Valuing the opportunity to foster and maintain a strong connection within the local community, including staff, School Council Members, Parents and Citizen Association and key community and industry stakeholders. Valuing the opportunity to build on the school's legacy and nurturing partnerships with other state schools to support students, teachers and colleagues, in alignment with the department's Equity and Excellence priorities.
