Responsibilities Student Support: Develop and update PLPs, implement and record individual support strategies. Provide check-ins, exit cards, flexible timetables, social skills programs, and transition support. Coordinate external agencies (AVT, OT/PT, TPO) as needed. Review academic progress and ensure appropriate subject alignment. Support specialized classes (LST, ASDAN, FSK, Literacy/Numeracy). Implement NASOT pedagogy and create curriculum-aligned lesson plans. Facilitate work experience and excursions for career pathways. Maintain student work records and ensure accessibility. ICP & QCIA: Set and document student goals with parents, teachers, and students. Secure approval for ICP/QCIA recommendations. Monitor progress, support teachers in evidence collection, and meet assessment deadlines. Communication & Management: Maintain NCCD evidence in One School. Collaborate with teachers, parents, GOs, HOYs, and aides on student needs. Ensure open communication on disability support, adjustments, and social/emotional needs. Minimum Requirements Applicants for these positions must possess: A relevant teaching qualification. Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration as a teacher in Queensland.
