Our client is seeking a seasoned Principal Procurement Advisor to join their team in Adelaide CBD. This is a 6-month contract role with potential to extend. This is an exciting opportunity to work within the government sector, providing expert procurement advice and delivering high-value projects. The successful candidate will have the chance to enhance service provision through effective relationship management and contribute to capability uplift across the organisation. What you'll do: Deliver concurrent, medium to high value and risk procurement projects Provide expert procurement advice in line with relevant legislation, regulations, and policies Support capability and skills uplift across the organisation through advisory support, mentoring, and training Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels Fulfil mandatory reporting obligations, reviews, and assessments What you bring: Proven knowledge and experience in end-to-end procurement processes Ability to identify and implement changes in procurement procedures, strategies, and policies Experience in liaising effectively and working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders High level communication skills (verbal and written) including well developed interpersonal and conflict resolution skills Ability to conduct complex negotiations at a senior level with all key stakeholders What sets this company apart: Our client is a reputable organisation committed to fostering a supportive work environment where employees can grow professionally.
