Principal Project Officer - Statewide Operations Education (Organisation site)Disability, Inclusion and Student Services Branch, Schools and Student Support Division Statewide Operations is seeking two (2) Principal Project Officers to join our dynamic and agile team. These roles offer exciting opportunities to contribute to high-level responses, policy development, and program management addressing a range of statewide educational priorities. We are looking for collaborative professionals with exceptional written and verbal communication skills and extensive expertise in program management to drive meaningful outcomes in a fast-paced environment. Your Role As the Principal Project Officer, you will: Design, plan, and implement evidence-based strategies, innovative solutions, and programs to achieve strategic objectives. Apply program management methodologies, including policy analysis, contract oversight, and budget management, to ensure effective and efficient delivery of initiatives. Lead research, development, and evaluation of strategic issues and initiatives, providing expert advice on policy development, operational planning, and practices to the leadership team. Develop and deliver high-quality information materials for publication, ensuring clarity and relevance for diverse stakeholder audiences. Collaborate with key stakeholders and facilitate consultation opportunities to align program goals with the needs of schools and communities. About You The ideal applicant will possess: Proven ability to research, analyse, and synthesise complex information, collect data, and monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of strategic initiatives and programs. Exceptional written and interpersonal communication skills, with demonstrated experience in producing high-quality policy papers, briefings, reports, and submissions within tight deadlines and competing priorities. Advanced stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to gather, analyse, and clearly articulate feedback to inform decision-making and program outcomes.
