Principal Regulatory Officer, Regulation & Compliance Be part of safeguarding our energy future by contributing to NSW’s Net Zero Plan Ongoing role based in Central Sydney, with flexible working conditions and hybrid working options Work with a wide range of stakeholders to support the delivery of best practice regulatory compliance work Perfect opportunity to grow your career in a smaller organisation About the role The role carries out regulatory and compliance functions for the NSW Energy Savings Scheme (ESS), the Peak Demand Reduction Scheme (PDRS) and the Renewable Fuel Scheme (RFS). In this role you will be: undertaking analysis using a risk-based approach to help make decisions regarding regulatory and compliance related matters delivering research and analysis of licence or accreditation applications preparing and presenting written briefings to senior staff and the Tribunal, our decision maker preparing publicly available guidance to support accreditation and compliance processes supporting the effective administration of best practice regulatory and compliance programs and policies. The salary range for this role is $144,622 to $153,550 per annum, plus superannuation and annual leave loading. About you We are looking for someone who: is enthusiastic about supervising and mentoring staff thrives on analysing information and finding practical solutions is goal oriented and motivated to learn and can quickly adapt to changing work priorities can manage workloads and meet agreed deliverables has advanced written and verbal communication skills Relevant tertiary qualifications or professional experience are required for this role.
