Principal Transmission Lines Engineer (Civil/Structural) Full-Time - Permanent Sydney, Perth, or Adelaide Location: Sydney, Perth, or Adelaide About the Role We're looking for a Principal Transmission Lines Engineer to take a leadership role in one of the strongest technical teams in the Asia-Pacific region . If you're an expert in high-voltage transmission line design (up to 500kV) and want to work on major power and infrastructure projects, this could be the role for you. You'll be leading a high-performing engineering team , providing technical oversight, and driving innovation in tower design, structural engineering, and grid integration . You'll also work closely with network service providers, renewable developers, and EPCs to deliver large-scale transmission projects. Key Responsibilities Provide technical leadership on HV transmission line design, construction, and maintenance . Oversee tower design, structural integrity, and fabrication processes . Ensure compliance with Australian, ASCE, BSEN, and IEC industry standards . Act as a key interface with utilities, developers, and contractors . Support troubleshooting and technical problem-solving across projects. Contribute to the development of best practices and engineering standards . About You You're a transmission lines expert with a solid background in civil and structural engineering . You've worked on large-scale infrastructure projects and know what it takes to design and deliver complex transmission systems. To be successful in this role, you'll need: 10+ years of experience in transmission line engineering. Strong technical expertise in HV transmission (AC/DC up to 500kV) . Experience with tower design , from concept to fabrication. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil & Structural Engineering. CPEng accreditation (preferred).
