About the role The Process Engineer role is a Full-Time position, based at Coopers Plains, QLD. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead the implementation of World Class Manufacturing on site as well as initiatives aimed at creating customer value and eliminating waste. In this role you will: Champion a safety-first culture within the factory in pursuit of a zero-harm environment ensuring to Never Walk Past. Actively support the site's Operational Improvement Programme (OIP) to achieve progressive cost reductions as per plan. Own the development and implementation of all Lean initiatives and projects on site, including structured problem-solving, change management, and plant trials. Lead the implementation of World Class Manufacturing (WCM) on site. Coach and mentor work area teams in the use of WCM training content. Provide technical support and guidance regarding optimization of manufacturing processes. Communicate and recognize the achievements and efforts of individuals and improvement teams through creating and sharing Kaizen before and after documents and storyboards. Assist in the cost-effective, timely, and efficient commissioning of new plant, equipment, and systems. Track, monitor, and evaluate the effectiveness of any changes made.
