About the role The Procurement Coordinator - Helpdesk is responsible for triaging and resolving procurement-related queries from business stakeholders, suppliers, and procurement teams, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolutions. This role focuses on supporting stakeholders with questions, concerns, and escalations related to process, technology, and compliance, particularly during digital and process transformation. Key accountabilities include: Act as the central point for all procurement queries. Support stakeholders with process, technology, and compliance queries. Track and monitor queries to closure. Perform problem analysis and root cause analysis for escalations. Provide excellent customer support and regular reports to procurement leadership. Maintain continuous improvement in processes and provide insights to the team. About you You are a detail-oriented and methodical individual with a keen eye for accuracy. You bring demonstrated experience in procurement and technology support in a large and complex organisation. In addition, our ideal candidate will possess: Ability to work collaboratively with various functions, suppliers, and individuals to achieve common goals. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement. Strong ability to quickly adapt to changes in processes and technology. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail. Experience with eProcurement tools (such as Oracle JD Edwards, SAP, Zycus) and Microsoft Office. Demonstrated alignment to V/Line's values of responsiveness, integrity, impartiality, accountability, respect, leadership, and human rights.
