Procurement Governance Manager Procurement Operations and Management Employment Type: Ongoing Classification / Grade / Band: Clerk Grade 9/10 Remuneration: $125,693 - $138,510; plus, Superannuation and Leave Loading Location: Sydney CBD, Flexible & hybrid working options available Applications Close: Friday, 7 March 2024 at 9:59am Role impact & contribution Your typical day-to-day work will include monitoring, analysing, and reporting on the financial performance and risks of various agencies. Provide expert advice in procurement intelligence, from a range of data sources, through business analysis, reporting, and performance analysis to inform procurement decisions, support performance improvement, and to enable stakeholders to meet business needs and expectations. Partners with stakeholders to manage the end-to-end sourcing and contract management process to deliver value for money and effectively meet business outcomes and government directions. You will be joining our Procurement Reform and Banking Group and will be working within the Procurement Operations and Management Division. What you can bring to the role The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria: Analytical Skills : Proficiency in using analytical tools and techniques to interpret data and generate insights for procurement planning and decision-making. Stakeholder Management : Ability to effectively communicate, negotiate, and manage relationships with key stakeholders to understand their business needs and ensure deliverables are met. Risk Management : Expertise in identifying and managing various risks (political, commercial, contractual, etc.) to meet procurement obligations and maximize business opportunities. Continuous Improvement : Commitment to continuous improvement, including staying updated on current developments in analytics and data analysis, and implementing improvements aligned with audit and compliance requirements. Procurement Strategy Development : Experience in developing innovative procurement and category management strategies, policies, and processes to enhance compliance outcomes. Supplier Performance Management : Ability to develop and assess reports for managing supplier performance and tracking benefits delivered. Compliance and Documentation : Strong understanding of compliance requirements and ability to document procurement processes, decisions, and contractual arrangements for audit trails and reporting.
