Product Developer | Womenswear | Immediately interviewing PRODUCT DEVELOPER | FASHION | PART-TIME or FULL TIME role Our client is an Australian contemporary designer brand known for its paired back, elevated pieces. They are now seeking a part-time product developer to join their team, based in Rosebery. In this role you will: Deliver commercially viable collections to meet profit targets alongside Senior Designer Manage communication with offshore suppliers / negotiating costs with factories & customers Ensure products are developed to meet design, technical and quality standards Follow and update the product lifecycle from sample development to delivery Ensure quality fitting and communicate comments to suppliers Identify and resolve any issues with quality and construction of samples Ensure everything is tracking in accordance with the critical path Manage all product related quality issues to ensure any corrective action is taken and resolved without delays About you: A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Product Development or Designer within Womenswear An innate knowledge and eye for colours, fit, construction and silhouettes in women's apparel A natural problem solver with the ability to foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Skill in creating tech and spec packs Previous experience liaising with offshore suppliers Interested?
