About the role: As Product Lead – Aussie Products, you’ll shape the future of white label lending products and other Aussie Products (Insurance, Deposit Bonds, Conveyancing, Commercial Finance). The role sits within our Experience Org who drives digital transformation in home lending, streamlining the process for customers, partners, and team members. This Sydney-based role requires 2-3 days per week in HQ to balance work-life flexibility with in-office collaboration. Key Responsibilities: Product Strategy & Management: Drive portfolio performance, identify opportunities, and enhance product offerings. Lending Transformation & Operations: Oversee risk, policy design, process improvement, and supplier management. Customer & Sales Support: Champion customer experience and support sales/distribution efforts. Project Delivery: Lead discovery, planning, and execution of new products and transformation initiatives. This role is crucial to optimising returns, managing the value chain, and driving innovation within a high-performing team. Who are you? Able to absorb unplanned work and support senior leaders in decision-making. Lead the Home Lending product team across product management, operations, risk, transformation, and supplier management. Develop and manage products/features to maximize perceived value while balancing actual value. Oversee product lifecycle to drive revenue, profitability, and market share. Monitor and report on product/portfolio performance to identify risks, issues, and opportunities. Financial & Operational Strategy: Contribute to P&L management for white-label lending products. Collaborate with the Customer Contact Centre/Operations team to enhance customer experience across channels. Support retention initiatives and portfolio management in partnership with Operations. Growth & Transformation: Develop strategic marketing and distribution plans based on insights and analysis. Drive lending transformation activities, ensuring alignment with Group objectives. Work with funding partners to ensure products deliver on their value proposition technically and operationally. Stakeholder & Partner Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with internal teams (Technology, Operations, Finance, Marketing, Sales & Distribution). Engage with external partners (Mortgage Funders, System Providers) to ensure effective product delivery. Cultivate a team culture that values transparency, efficiency, and enjoyment in the workplace.
