The primary purpose of this role is to develop and implement product strategies and provide oversight of the end-to-end product lifecycle, including adherence to governance and achievement of portfolio performance. About the role Manage the CTP product portfolio in compliance with regulations from NSW, QLD, and SA. Develop and implement Product Strategy, incorporating insights from market, competitors, and customer research. Monitor and analyse market and competitor activities, providing insights to support the Product strategy. Lead relevant regulatory submissions and implement changes to products as informed by analysis. Develop and implement product governance, including submissions to management committees and regular reporting of product risk metrics. Define the risk appetite for the product and portfolio in line with the enterprise risk appetite statement. Monitor and provide analysis and reports on variations from product plans and the underwriting framework. Liaise with the pricing team to determine pricing strategies and ensure the adequacy of pricing for designated product lines. Liaise with internal stakeholders and state regulators to ensure compliance with legislation and operating guidelines. Understand and anticipate customer needs through extensive customer networks and competitor intelligence. About you Minimum 2 years of experience as a Product Manager in Financial Services. Prior experience working with CTP and/or other regulated products or long tail insurance. Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of governance requirements and frameworks. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline supported by relevant insurance industry qualifications and ANZIIF (or equivalent) accreditations. Significant product management, product development, technical analysis, and/or underwriting experience. Proven analytical and critical thinking abilities.
