Job Title : Product Owner Work location : Canberra Job Description As a Product Owner, you will engage with customers and stakeholders to understand needs, identify problems, and develop comprehensive solutions. You will gather feedback, test benefit hypotheses, and refine designs in collaboration with the Agile Release Train (ART). By contributing to the Change Program vision and prioritizing the product roadmap, you will guide the Scrum team in backlog management and story creation. You will use product management tools like Jira or Azure DevOps to maintain a well-defined backlog, facilitate sprint planning, and ensure alignment with user requirements. Your role involves data-driven decision-making, handling API integration discussions, and educating stakeholders on product feasibility. You will actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including PI Planning, manage dependencies, and foster continuous improvement alongside the Scrum Master, ensuring effective delivery. Technical Skills Proficiency in Agile and SAFe frameworks. Experience with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps). Understanding of Digital Service Standard. Expertise in UAT and user feedback analysis. Strong skills in defining product roadmaps and backlog management. Data analysis capabilities for informed decision-making. Knowledge of API concepts and basic software development processes. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Requirements Relevant 3 years + experience in a Product Owner role.
