Production Line Leader - Pharmaceutical - Afternoon Shift $37.52 + 15% + 11.5% Super + Free Parking + Perks Industry: Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Location: South Eastern Suburbs - near Clayton Hourly rate: $37.52 + 15% Shift Loading + 11.5% Super Shift: Night Shift 3 pm to 11 pm Employment Conditions: Permanent Qualifications: Engineering Degree plus experience in a similar role is highly advantageous We're looking for production STARS, these are candidates who are: Smart & Self-motivated Technically Competent Awesome Attitude Responsive, Reliable & Resilient Key responsibilities: In conjunction with the Supervisor, manage all aspects of production in the Packaging Department, using dedicated resources such as key people, equipment and materials to meet or exceed the production plan as efficiently as possible, with minimal wastage of resources. Support the Supervisor by supervising and training staff. Be actively involved in the development of staff to create a cohesive and highly skilled team through effective training, mentoring, coaching and communication. Take responsibility for yours and the team's safety and ensure that all products adhere to required quality standards. Maintain a clean and organised area and contribute suggestions for improvement. Coordinate timely and accurate delivery and return of packaging materials between packaging and the warehouse. Key Requirements: Experience in leading a team. Be a quick learner and have the ability to multitask. Proven track record with leading safety and continuous improvement initiatives. Possess high attention to detail. Have excellent communication skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships right across the business. Has STAR qualities listed above. Demonstrated knowledge of GMP principles and OH&S requirements. Tertiary qualification in Business/Science/Engineering/Pharmacy desired. Permanent Residency in AU or NZ/AU Citizen.
