The Opportunity We are looking to appoint an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our Hume factory. This is a great opportunity for a dynamic individual with a track record of working in a manufacturing environment to join the team. Key Responsibilities Lead the continual development of Safety Culture across the area of responsibility Drive the LEAN and continuous improvement Maintain timely production schedules and communicate issues or delays Ensure daily production completion to our high-quality standards Identify and eliminate causes of lost productivity Manage employees and staff work allocation (18 direct reports) Provide leadership and guidance to factory operatives ensuring performance levels are maintained Improve engagement and culture through leadership, training, and mentorship for the production teams About You 3 - 5 years of previous supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment Experience in or exposure to Lean Manufacturing principles Strong leadership skills with an ability to motivate employees WHS exposure with a focus on Zero Harm at all times Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport Valid Forklift Licence (highly desirable); training and certification can be provided What's On Offer Hours: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm (Monday - Thursday), 6:00 am - 12:00 pm (Friday) Ongoing training and career development Generous discounts on our extensive range of products On-site parking Ability to schedule leave every year at Christmas Additional paid day’s leave on your birthday, even if it falls on the weekend!
