Job Description An exciting role within Group Asset Management Services managing strategic projects and delivery of programs. Take the opportunity to monitor change effectiveness and collaborate across internal frontline, Executive management and external partners. 24 month Fixed-Term role based at Mascot Head Office. As the Program Change Manager , you will be responsible for the design, planning and execution of an effective change and communication plan to support Project Cornerstone: the holistic portfolio of programs to oversee the build or renovation of multiple new training centres in Sydney, Perth and Melbourne; the introduction of multiple full flight simulators and emergency procedure (EP) training assets across Australia – a program representing investment of over $100m. The training centres and assets will deliver transformative infrastructure to optimize network operating models, enabling ambitious Flight Ops and Crew training plans. In this tactical role you will have responsibility for building trust and strong working relationships with a broad and complex stakeholder group, with a truly Group focus across Qantas, QantasLink, Qantas Freight and Jetstar. You will support an integrated, holistic view of change across all the ports in Australia, including preparing the various businesses units for the introduction of new equipment, the design of new facilities, and relocation of Flight Simulator and Emergency Procedure assets. You will introduce and ensure best-in-class change management methodologies are applied to ensure governance, compliance, alignment to critical path milestones, business continuity and cross functional collaboration with consideration to the change impacts for all stakeholders. You will engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, and impacted teams (Senior leadership, including Executive Managers and Chief Operating Officers, Flight Ops, Aviation Safety Training (AST), Safety, Cabin Crew, Workforce Planning and Asset Technicians) and will be responsible for influencing alignment and driving understanding of the benefits derived from the change project. You’ll have – 7 years’ experience in a project environment with demonstrated examples of key milestones being successfully delivered. Sound knowledge of project and change management practices and initiatives. Significant experience in a complex matrix organization. Exposure to Agile methodology and understanding of airline industry. Tertiary qualifications in Business Management, Change Management, Supply chain logistics or equivalent industry experience. Highly self-motivated with strong ability to deliver under pressure and manage time as needed. Excellent relationship management skills and strong customer focus with the ability to build constructive and effective working relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders. Proven ability to influence key stakeholders at the Senior Executive level. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability and confidence to run forums with more senior management membership/participation. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Why Qantas?
