6+6 Month Federal Government Contract Sydney or Melbourne - Hybrid Ability to obtain Baseline Clearance Required Our Federal Government Client is looking for an Executive Director - Scheme Effectiveness to lead and have delegated authority to resolve issues and risks across wide-ranging activities of substantial depth involving significant detail. It will provide the leadership, control, planning, resource management, performance management and decision making for the Actuarial, Data and Analytics sections of the Agency. Key duties and responsibilities: Leading analytical work regarding outcomes measurement and analysis. Leading development of participant level models to guide budget decision making. Leading the data science centre of excellence. Engaging internal and external stakeholders including participants, DRCO's, broader disability sector, DSS and other Government Agencies. Evaluating and analysing policy decisions. Providing statistical and analytical advice to senior management and stakeholders. Performing reporting, analysis and data management activities as required. Leading and motivating a team of up to 30 actuaries, data scientists and analysts. Essential Criteria: Tertiary qualifications in Actuarial Studies, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or other relevant equivalent qualifications. Experience in leading high performing Actuarial/data teams. High level experience in managing internal and external stakeholders. Experience in managing/developing internal/external reports.
