Program Management Office (PMO) Specialist Pay Competitive Location: Parramatta/New South Wales Employment type: Full-Time Job Description The Program Management Office (PMO) Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that financial and project management frameworks are applied effectively within a large-scale programme. This role will involve overseeing governance, managing risks, issues, dependencies, financials (including benefits realisation), and quality, ensuring that PMO activities are completed on time and to a high standard. Responsibilities: Ensure governance of the programme, including risk, issue, and dependency management, financial tracking (cost and benefit), and quality assurance. Utilise relevant programme tools such as Microsoft Project Online, SAP-EPPM, and Power BI to maintain schedules and monitor progress. Collaborate with the Program Director, Program Manager, and Project Managers to ensure high-quality submissions and accurate reports. Ensure compliance with project and financial management frameworks, using required systems and tools. Build strong relationships with the Programme team and key stakeholders to support successful programme delivery. Assist in the implementation of PMO processes and best practices, ensuring that stage gate approvals and change/variation processes are followed appropriately. Provide insightful reports and analytics on programme performance, including financial tracking and benefits realisation. Identify and deliver actions to enhance the quality of programme delivery through effective reporting and monitoring. Experience and Qualifications: Strong experience in programme or project management, ideally within a large-scale or complex programme environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Project Online, SAP-EPPM, and Power BI. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with senior stakeholders. Strong understanding of financial and project management frameworks. Experience with governance processes and the implementation of PMO best practices.
