Position : Permanent, Full Time Location : Dandenong & Frankston Salary : $115,065 - $119,871 plus superannuation and salary package The Organisation The Victorian Aboriginal Child and Community Agency (VACCA) is an Aboriginal Community-Controlled organisation that supports and advocates for the Aboriginal Community and is the largest organisation of its kind in Australia. About the role The position will be responsible for the operational oversight of the suite of Family Services programs to ensure programs are coordinated and managed to support the best possible platform for the delivery of effective, quality, and timely responses. The Program Manager role includes achieving all funding targets, and ensuring reporting and compliance requirements are fully met. These programs include: AFPR, IFS, Intake & Allocations, Specialist Family Services, Disability and Mental Health. About You Demonstrated commitment and understanding for the values that underpin VACCA’s vision and purpose. Tertiary qualifications in the field of social work, psychology or community services and extensive relevant experience, or a combination of experience, expertise and competence sufficient to perform the duties described. Demonstrated knowledge and relevant experience in the delivery of statutory out of home care services, aligned early years, youth programs including therapeutic approaches required to bring about better outcomes for at risk and vulnerable Aboriginal children and families. Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with Aboriginal organisations and workers, and key stakeholders. Proven leadership capabilities including experience in successfully developing, managing, and motivating large teams. Experience in program implementation, service planning and delivery, including monitoring, evaluation and maintenance of applicable standards and statutory compliance requirements. Strong organisational, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills including the capacity to negotiate and work effectively with a range of individuals and organisations to facilitate the effective delivery of organisational and program objectives. Ability to use initiative, work under pressure, and use sound professional judgement in decision making. Requirements: Current COVID-19 vaccination (including booster dose, as applicable), a Working with Children’s Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and a Victorian Driver Licence.
