Program Manager (Workshop Operations) - Flexible Join to apply for the Program Manager (Workshop Operations) - Flexible role at Department of Transport and Main Roads . Working in a busy team, RoadTek Fleet are seeking a highly organised and efficient Program Manager (Workshop Operations) to manage the delivery of equipment maintenance operations. RoadTek Fleet consists of Managing 1300+ Fleet assets spread across 9 operations units. The workshop teams maintain a core fleet to satisfy operational unit requirements to facilitate the delivery of transport infrastructure maintenance, works and services across Queensland. This is a permanent, full-time position and can be performed from any of our RoadTek office locations (Cairns, Townsville, Mackay, Rockhampton, Bundaberg, Toowoomba, Warwick, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast or Brisbane CBD). RoadTek is a commercial business within the Department of Transport and Main Roads. We provide transport infrastructure solutions for projects across Queensland. In this role, you will continuously develop workforce capability, maintaining a working environment conducive to high productivity, capacity and competence to deliver fleet reliability and availability to meet the civil infrastructure delivery needs of the business. You will ensure consistent state-wide systems, policies, procedures and processes are developed and implemented to support equipment servicing efficiency and effectiveness. Accountabilities Include: Develop, manage and advance a state-wide workshop operation to optimise the efficiency and effectiveness of equipment repairs and maintenance. Ensure cost effective workshop operations meet both RoadTek and customer requirements. Establish protocols, policies and procedures for workshop operations and ensure consistent application state-wide. Ensure appropriate analysis is conducted in relation to equipment servicing to ensure reliability and safety of the fleet. Provide expert advice on equipment condition and maintenance needs to support appropriate servicing programs. Capture learnings in relation to servicing of equipment and ensure this is fed into maintenance programming decisions. Provide mentoring and coaching to facilitate technical development and on the job training of resources to ensure capability for current and future equipment maintenance delivery. Maximise equipment maintenance delivery capability and effectiveness by continuously developing appropriate competencies within the workforce. Manage and provide specialist advice to ensure effective and efficient state-wide maintenance management program for all equipment. Mandatory Qualifications And Conditions: Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role. Desirable Requirements: Valid Queensland ‘C' class driver's licence or equivalent. A reasonable amount of travel consistent with industry standards will be required throughout the State. Mechanical / Construction / Plant knowledge.
