We need an experienced (mid-senior level) project planner with established P6 or growing P6 (and established MS Project) project planning & project management/administration skills to join our passionate Project Controls team! Who we are Neuplan is a high-performing project management consultancy focused on mining, resources, construction and infrastructure. We have 30 – 40+ consultants advising an established and growing client base on projects at various stages of the project life cycle. Working with juniors, small to mid-cap producers, principals, tier 1 contractors, and engineering companies, we advise on large international, national and WA (process and NPI) projects across: mining and resources – incl. iron ore, gold, lithium and rare earths civil construction large-scale industrial infrastructure public transport infrastructure Unlike other consultancies, we do not set billing targets and take on the BD commitment. About the role Gaining a deep knowledge of your craft, you will work from both the Neuplan corporate office and client offices. This may involve working from Neuplan on discrete tasks for varied construction, mining and resources projects, as well as working on secondment to metro area client teams (variable secondment lengths). The Neuplan Project Controls Associate Director and fellow specialist planners will offer you ready input and support. This will see you work closely with leading project engineering, project management, commercial, legal, and project controls advisors, developing sound knowledge and seamlessly integrate into existing and forecasted client projects. Depending on your technical discipline, your work may involve complex, varied information gathering, analysis and project planning tasks such as: feasibility and tender planning and programming preparing detailed, costed and resourced programmes reporting and dashboarding updating programmes regularly to reflect progress earned value calculations / S-curve modelling extension of time claim programming and delay analysis participating in developing bespoke systems and procedures, as part of Neuplan’s “best practice” methodology Why Neuplan? What are we looking for? Experienced project administrators with a minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in project planning & information analysis: gained within a relevant industry/sector e.g.: mining/resources (process & non-process infrastructure), civil construction, SMP/fabrication, heavy industrial, automation, or public infrastructure (transport focus e.g. road/rail/bridges); and having developed: proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project and MS Excel; excellent written communication and reporting skills; excellent interpersonal and client communication skills – client-facing experience highly regarded; a collaborative, knowledge-sharing approach, with a keen interest to continue to experience consulting across diverse industry sectors! #J-18808-Ljbffr
