Program Reporting Manager – State Government Client – Joondalup, WA We are seeking an experienced Program Reporting Manager for a temporary contract position with a state government client.Rate: Up to $90 per hour plus Super (depending on experience)Duration: 5-month initial contract with possible 5-month extensionHours: Full-time – 37.5 hours per weekLocation: Joondalup, WAType: Temporary casual contract (no leave entitlements – casual loading included in rate)Role Overview The Program Reporting Manager within the Approvals System Reform (ASR) Directorate is responsible for overseeing reporting processes, governance, and system administration to support the effective delivery of approvals reform.Key Responsibilities Azure DevOps Administration – Manage the Boards component of Azure DevOps for ASR, including configuration updates, user maintenance, and the creation/maintenance of queries and dashboards. Governance Reporting – Provide independent monthly governance reports to the Corporate Executive (CorpEx), highlighting amber/red recommendations across governance, schedule, resourcing, risks, issues, and scope. Risk and Issue Management – Conduct monthly risk and issue workshops with recommendation and risk owners and provide guidance and support to recommendation owners in resolving identified risks and issues. Stakeholder Support – Assist Program Managers, Principal Policy Officers, Assistant Directors, and the Director in ensuring accurate and transparent reporting on the progress of approvals reform. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Experience To be successful in this role, the candidate must demonstrate:Proficiency in Azure DevOps Boards, with experience in planning, tracking, and managing projects. Strong conceptual and analytical skills, with a proven ability to assess complex problems and develop effective solutions. Exceptional stakeholder engagement abilities, with experience in building alliances and managing relationships with senior stakeholders. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely. Desirable Experience Previous experience working in the public sector and/or within a Program Management Office (PMO) is highly desirable.
