Project Accountant - Property Development Capstone Sydney, New South Wales, Australia This range is provided by Capstone. Base pay range A$110,000.00/yr - A$140,000.00/yr Our client is an Australian owned Property Development and Investment Group that specialise in delivering high end mixed use, urban development and residential projects. Led by a highly regarded Exec team they have an exceptional development pipeline, access to large scale institutional investment, and are entering a period of accelerated growth. The Role Sitting in the Construction business whilst reporting through to the Group CFO, you’ll be responsible for the project accounting, financial reporting and cost/variance analysis for several high profile Real Estate Development Projects. Duties & Responsibilities include: Month end project accounting, financial reporting, cash-flow forecasting and cost control analysis. Monthly reporting on variances (actuals vs budgets) and project performance analysis. Control of the GL across all projects, including reconciliations, preparation of journals, cost transfers and revenue adjustments. Monthly WIP calculation. Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts. The Successful Applicant To be successful in the role, you’ll have the following skills and experience: Relevant Construction/Project Accounting experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Cheops/JobPac experience. Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
