Project Administrator/Contracts Administrator Manteena Security (Aust) specializes in construction projects of a secure nature which provide a unique, challenging and diverse range of construction projects locally, nationally and internationally. Our wide range of locations means that you can work in Canberra on projects located outside our local region. There are also opportunities for short term travel if desired. The Role: The ideal candidate currently works in the construction industry as a Project Administrator or Contracts Administrator with 3+ years of experience in providing administrative support and coordination to assist the Construction Project Manager manage all aspects of commercial building projects to a high standard achieving safe construction, excellent quality and profitable return. This role will provide opportunities for you to develop the skills and abilities to become a Construction Project Manager. You must have: On-site project and contracts administration experience within the construction industry. Professionalism, respect and integrity toward your clients, suppliers, contractors, and staff with an ability to work and communicate with different personality types. The ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks. The ability to learn and adopt good operational risk management practices for the project. WHS Construction Induction Card and Asbestos Awareness Certificate. Computer skills using programs such as MS Project, and MS Office Suite and a willingness to learn specific cost control and estimating software programs. The ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Security Clearance. A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or similar, and previous experience working for a head contractor will be highly regarded.
