We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to join the Digital Power team as a Project Engineer in our Sydney office. The Project Engineer will be responsible for design, configuration, and testing of electrical SCADA. To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in designing and commissioning of SCADA and metering systems, including measurement devices, communication devices, software applications, database, and database reporting applications. Responsibilities Responsible for design, configuration, and testing of electrical SCADA. Follow engineering process and project deliverables in line with project plan. Technical responsibility in the project delivery cycle from documentation preparation, support to order the correct hardware and software, configuration, testing (internal validation, factory testing, integrated testing, site acceptance, commissioning, and support once the system is operational). Liaise with other members of a multidisciplinary team to specify, design, and test the project while meeting required technical standards. Support the project manager to control projects effectively in terms of budgeted profitability, planning, financial control, and general reporting (internal / external). Support agreements with customers for material/documentation lead times, delivery, reliability, and quality are achieved within budgetary constraints. Ideal Candidate Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics Degree or Technical Trade background, 5+ years experience in a similar Engineering role. Industry experience with SCADA for electrical systems like EcoStruxure Power Operation, EcoStruxure Power Automation System (EPAS). Knowledge and implementation of projects with IEC 61850 standard. Knowledge and implementation of protocols like: Modbus, DNP3, IEC 104, OPC UA. Exposure to Schneider Metering products & PLCs.
