Role Description This is a contract FIFO role (14/9 roster) on-site role located in Orange, NSW for a Project Engineer | SMP | FIFO. The Project Engineer will be responsible for communication, project management, project engineering, project planning, and co-ordination reporting directly to the construction services lead. Managed scope will include; Oil & Gas Facilities – Construction, maintenance, and modifications for production facilities, FPSOs, compressor stations, and pipeline infrastructure. Pipeline & Station Infrastructure – Installation and maintenance of mainline valve stations, meter stations, and pump stations. Industrial & Process Equipment – Mechanical installation of packaged equipment, mineral processing units, tanks, silos, chutes, and hoppers. Petrochemical & Power Plants – Modifications, debottlenecking, construction, and maintenance of petrochemical and power generation facilities. Water Infrastructure – Installation and maintenance of water treatment and distribution facilities. Brownfield & Maintenance Projects – Specialized expertise in upgrades, refurbishments, and operational continuity for existing industrial plants. Qualifications Communication and Project Management skills Project Engineering and Project Planning skills Experience in mine site civil engineering projects Ability to work independently and in a team Strong problem-solving skills Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering 5 Years industry experience in the mining sector Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Contract Job function Engineering and Information Technology Industries Construction #J-18808-Ljbffr
