THE ROLE We are looking for a “Project Manager – Grid Connections” to join our high performing Brisbane team. We're open to all levels of experience ranging from junior to senior. As Project Manager – Grid Connection, you will lead technical projects with skilled power systems engineers and manage key stakeholder relationships, including Network Service Providers (NSPs), the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO), Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and clients. Previous experience overseeing studies related to HV grid connection projects in the NEM or WEM is advantageous, but not mandatory. Comprehensive experience in the delivery of technical engineering projects or a background in engineering design or consultancy is desirable. In this role, you will be responsible for the time, cost, and scope management for a portfolio of projects, coordinating internal and external resources to deliver exceptional project outcomes. Working with the engineering team, to ensure timely delivery of quality engineering documentation and solutions that meet industry standards and expectations. The ability to assist with planning and scheduling for engineering activities relating to EPEC’s programme of work and develop cost effective engineering programme solutions will be essential. Experience with any of the following power system analysis tools including PSS/E, PSCAD, PowerFactory and Hypersim in RMS and EMT environments will be advantageous, but not mandatory.
