About the role Oversee and coordinate the successful execution of various Distribution projects assigned by the Program Director. This role covers projects from Penrith to Kandos, the westernmost part of our network. Responsibilities include monitoring progress, reporting to the Senior Project Manager and Program Director, and recommending strategies to ensure timely completion within budget and milestones. Additionally, ensure all work complies with company standards and adheres to safety, legislative, financial, and environmental requirements. Key accountabilities Project Coordination & Compliance – Manage and coordinate works to ensure compliance with company standards, safety, legislative, financial, and environmental requirements. Risk & Cost Management – Apply risk management to balance time, cost, and resources, ensuring cost-effective project delivery that meets network and customer priorities. Project Execution & Continuous Improvement – Develop and implement project-specific delivery, safety, environmental, and risk management plans while reviewing outcomes for continuous improvement. Contractor & Procurement Management – Oversee safe and efficient contractor management, procurement, and administration of construction services, including contract specifications and tendering. Financial & Performance Reporting – Ensure accurate project cost management, timely financial variations, and provide clear reporting on delivery progress, budget performance, and associated risks. Qualifications Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering or in a related field Diploma in Project Management. Licences/Tickets C Vehicle licence up to 4.5 tonnes gross vehicle mass (GVM) Workcover Induction for Construction Work - General Course Authorised to submit Network Access Requests Authorised to provide Clearance for the Commissioning of new Assets When we power together, we can achieve so much more.
