A Tier One rail construction client is seeking 2 urgent contractors Project Manager Estimators (Construct Build & Operations) to join their team for a prestigious large-scale Rail project. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with strong estimating experience and a proven track record in managing complex projects in the construction or infrastructure sector. Key Responsibilities: Lead the estimating phase for a major Rail Construction Build & Operations NSW Sydney Metro project, ensuring accurate and timely cost forecasts. Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to develop detailed project budgets and resource plans. Analyse and interpret project documentation, scope, and specifications to provide cost-effective solutions. Oversee and manage all aspects of project estimation, including risk assessments, value engineering, and cost control. Provide detailed reporting and recommendations to senior management for project progress and budget adherence. Ensure all project activities align with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. What we are looking for: Extensive experience (10+ years) in project management and estimating, particularly in large-scale infrastructure or rail projects. Proven track record of successful estimation for multi-million-dollar projects. Strong understanding of construction methodologies, contracts, and risk management. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in project management software and estimating tools. A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent industry certifications. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. What's on Offer: We are offering strong Day rate from $1000 - $1500+ (however it may be negotiable pending on experience). ABN or PAYG employment. We pay weekly! Opportunity to work on one of Sydney's most high-profile infrastructure projects. Initially this role will be at least 4 months; however, it can be ongoing with added project management skills.
