The Hallam branch of Equans Fire Protection Services is seeking a Fire Project Manager with Fire Detection and Special Hazard expertise to join our team. This role is critical in working on end-to-end project management, including estimation, sales, installation and compliance for Light Commercial Minor Works Services to both existing and new clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of estimations and installation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, are fully compliant with Australian Standards/NCC, and in line with HSE regulations, quality standards, and company policies. Key Responsibilities Achieve designated project and minor works sales targets within deadlines, increasing revenues and margins, while adhering to correct sales processes and best practices to meet team targets and objectives. Manage Fire system projects from estimation and design through to installation and handover. Liaise with clients, builders, subcontractors, engineers, regulatory authorities and other stakeholders. Conduct site inspections, risk assessments and quality control checks. Implement EH&S Systems for each project Attend and organize project coordination meetings Prepare technical documentation, project schedules, reports, drawings and certifications. Ensure timely project completion, adhering to scope, schedule, and budget, while complying with HSE policies. Oversee and coordinate installation teams and subcontract labour, providing technical assistance and solutions. Work closely with Finance to follow up on outstanding claims and invoices. Collaborate with the Legal team to ensure tender terms and conditions align with company policies. Use project management tools such as Microsoft Projects, Bluebeam, AutoCAD and Salesforce for project opportunity and customer recording. Assist with project forecasting on a monthly basis. Stay up to date with company policies, regulations, and industry standards. Perform additional duties as required. Proficiency in AutoCAD (preferred but not required) Construction White Card and valid driver’s license. Strong persistence and determination to achieve long-term goals. High attention to detail and ability to work to demanding standards. Excellent time management, communication and problem-solving skills. Experience with budgets and business data analysis.
