Project Manager: Client Side Construction Bring your extensive project management skills to successfully lead the management of three projects from concept brief development, consultant engagement, and procurement through to construction completion across fit-out, refurbishment of the office premises program. Develop and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and actively manage stakeholder engagement across a broad range of internal, subcontractor and external stakeholders. Melbourne CBD (3 days) with hybrid / flexible working arrangements. Full-time fixed term until 30 June 2026, VPS 6 $134,593 - $180,115 p.a + super. Applications close 11:59pm, 10 March 2025. The IBAC Premises Program requires a Project Manager to enable IBAC to successfully oversee and direct the management of three projects from concept brief development through to completion across fit-out, refurbishment, and subsequent relocation of the office premises. The Project Manager oversees and manages contractors involved in the design and delivery of fit out and refurbishment, including coordinating procurement processes, budget and cash flow management, construction contract administration, stakeholder management, reporting, and risk and issues management. The role is required to: Manage major construction projects for the organisation that will deliver strategic premises outcomes including office fit-out, relocation, make-good and related change management. Meet service objectives, including financial, quality and time related targets for major projects. Client-Side Project Management: oversee every step from planning approvals, consultant engagement, contractor team procurement to managing timelines and budgets. Drive a culture of high performance by providing direction and clear communication to direct reports regarding role responsibilities and expectations. Professionally and promptly manage and resolve complex work-related issues through to resolution; support constructive working relationships and act as a role model, modelling ethical behaviours and values. Our requirements / Your skill set We are looking for candidates with the below experience and capabilities: A tertiary qualification in Construction, Engineering or Architecture and/or professional certification in Project Management. Construction and engineering knowledge will be highly regarded. Significant experience as a Senior PM including Commercial Fit out industry, client management, business relocation and related projects. Strong commercial, contractual, and financial acumen. Proven ability to communicate clearly and effectively to drive positive outcomes with key project stakeholders. Proven experience managing budgets & cost control. Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal. Highly organised and able to manage workload whilst sticking to deadlines.
