What you'll do: Lead and manage complex projects from inception to completion Develop comprehensive project plans and monitor progress Manage risks and issues, ensuring effective mitigation strategies are in place Engage with stakeholders at all levels, fostering strong relationships and ensuring clear communication Drive continuous improvement initiatives across project management methodologies Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards What you bring: Proven experience in project management within a complex environment Understanding of Information Management principles and processes including retention, disposal schedules, and the digitisation of paper heavy processes. Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage diverse teams Ability to interpret large, complex data to support effective delivery Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining strategic partners both internally and externally Ability to develop comprehensive project plans and monitor progress Experience managing risks and issues, with effective mitigation strategies Lead the monitoring and reporting of the projects benefits, schedules, dependencies, finances, and general status Commitment to continuous improvement and knowledge of project management methodologies Experience delivering complex projects within Queensland Government This role is Brisbane based and requires the candidate to be locally based.
