Job Description

Revenue SA, a branch of the Department of Treasury and Finance, is located in the heart of the Adelaide CBD and is responsible for the collection of around $5.5 billion of South Australia's state tax revenue as well as the administration of a number of grant schemes. RevenueSA's vision is to work together to deliver contemporary and innovative revenue and grant services for the benefit of South Australia. About the opportunity: As the Senior Manager, Strategic Intelligence & Information Management, your role will be pivotal in driving Revenue SA's strategic direction through data-led taxation analysis and initiatives. You will be at the forefront of managing RevenueSA's strategic information sources/data assets, setting strategies, and developing policies and processes around data and information management. Your ability to communicate complex findings in an understandable manner will be crucial in engaging both technical and non-technical audiences. Your leadership skills will shine as you guide a small team of data scientists and taxation analysts towards achieving successful outcomes. Key requirements include: Lead, manage, report and assess the effectiveness of RevenueSA's intelligence-led approach to understanding non-compliance with state-based tax laws. Liaise with strategic intelligence, data analytics, forensic and information management counterparts in other State/Territory and Federal tax offices. Manage and govern RevenueSA's strategic information sources/data assets. Work collaboratively with RevenueSA project teams to deliver system-based solutions. Develop and implement compliance risk and target identification programs. Communicate findings and results in an understandable manner that demonstrates the business application. Overall, you will need to be a self-motivated individual with the ability to build collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and decision makers.
