The Opportunity With exciting projects on the horizon, the team is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the Regulated Portfolio team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivery of multiple projects across the full lifecycle, and will need to proactively manage project risks, costs and schedule, governance, resources and stakeholders to ensure successful project completion and hand over. These projects are typically delivered by either direct subcontractor engagement or an outsourced model, usually a design and construct contract. In this diverse role you will be responsible for ensuring design and contract specifications, quality and regulatory standards as well as health, safety and environmental and commercial obligations are achieved, and that the project is delivered successfully. These activities will require strong leadership skills and the ability to build relationships across broad stakeholder groups to influence outcomes and ensure deliverables are achieved. About You Here's what we're looking for in our next Project Manager: Approximately 5 to 7 years of project management experience in Australia. Industry experience in energy, utilities, infrastructure and construction would be highly desirable. Possess detailed understanding of health, safety, environment, development approval, land procurement, cultural heritage and sustainability throughout the project lifecycle. Enthusiastic approach to project management and reporting requirements through all phases of the project - from initiation through to handover. Application and understanding of project management methodologies, tools and principals. Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build and foster positive working relationships and culture with internal and external stakeholders. Experience in understanding contracts, managing risks, negotiating and is resolution focused. Strong time management and coordination skills, including problem-solving skills while working under tight deadlines and acting decisively to make informed decisions.
