Job Description

We’re pleased to invite applications for the position of Project Manager , to support the JP2060 Support - Survey and Quote function. Based in Bundamba, Queensland and reporting to the Program Manager – JP2060, you will deliver quality project outcomes, ensuring effective project planning, execution, and reporting. In this pivotal role, you’ll develop, submit, and execute Survey and Quote project plans to support the project. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has a strong understanding of project management methodologies, stakeholder engagement, and risk management. This position also offers Flexible working options and a 9 Day Fortnight. As part of your specific responsibilities, you will: Implement and manage project activities, including:Performance and data reporting for Steering Committees, Gate Reviews, and Progress Meetings. Management of Survey and Quote schedule activities and reporting. Estimating costs and preparing budgets for Survey and Quote tasks. Liaise with discipline managers to align objectives and requirements. Determine and allocate necessary resources, including workforce and materials. Ensure quality standards and health & safety regulations are met. Assess risks associated with Survey and Quote activities. Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships. Adhere to legislative and company policies, including safety and quality management systems. About you Your skills and experience will include: Proven experience as a Project Manager within an engineering, construction, or Defence environment. Extensive experience working on systems projects. Strong understanding of quality standards, health & safety regulations, and budgeting concepts. Proficient in MS Office and ERP software. Excellent organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with Australian contract law and Defence Industry contracting processes (desirable). Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. High level of self-motivation with the ability to manage workload effectively. The ability to plan, schedule, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Qualification: Tertiary qualification in project management or equivalent experience. Postgraduate qualifications in engineering, science, or business management/administration (desirable). Registered Project Manager (desirable but not essential). As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an NV1 clearance.
