An exciting opportunity currently exists for a Project Officer to join the Department of Health's Outpatient Transformation Program Team. The Outpatient Transformation Program Team is a small, dynamic team responsible for implementing key actions within the Transforming Outpatient Services Strategy across all public outpatient areas in Tasmania. The role Contribute to the development of robust actions within the Outpatient Transformation Program, Improvement Streams across the targeted areas: Hospitals South, Hospitals North and Hospitals Northwest. Assist with and co-ordinate outpatient improvement project outputs. Develop and review policies and protocols as required that will contribute to Statewide consistency, best practice, clinical redesign and innovation within the delivery of Outpatient Services. Liaise, consult, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to lead, facilitate, inform, and evaluate Outpatient Service delivery. Lead, coordinate, and support working groups associated with the programs of work within the Outpatient Transformation Program. The team The Outpatient Transformation Program has been established to implement improvements identified in the four-year strategy: Transforming Outpatient Services 2022-2026 . The strategies aim to ensure that Tasmanians receive best practice and contemporary outpatient services within clinically appropriate time frames, regardless of where they live. The Outpatient Transformation Program Team works closely with stakeholders within the outpatient clinics as well as key external stakeholders. Details of Appointment Fixed Term, full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 30 June 2025. *Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies. Your primary work location may be located in the Southern, Northern or North West Region. Salary: $107,899 - $122,292 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023.
