Project Officer - Aged Care Reform (531147) Australia, Tas Feb 6, 2025 About the Tasmanian State Service: The Tasmanian State Service (TSS) is the largest employer in Tasmania, with over 28,000 employees providing services to the Tasmanian community at all levels. The Aged Care Reform Unit works with the Tasmanian Health Service and the Aged Care Sector to improve and streamline care for older Tasmanians. The Role: Provide project management services by collaboratively planning, delivering, and implementing project and activity outputs within the Aged Care Reform. Support the implementation of new initiatives and service improvements through effective project management processes, providing specialist advice and coordination to ensure project activities align with Agency policies, core business functions, and relevant legislation. You will need: Demonstrated in-depth experience in project management, including organizational skills to plan, coordinate, and manage several concurrent project activities within strict timeframes. Demonstrated ability to think strategically, analytically, and creatively regarding project initiatives within the public service. Proven high-level interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to consult and negotiate with a wide range of stakeholders. Experience in preparing high-quality correspondence and presenting information in various formats for diverse audiences. Ability to work constructively as part of a team and independently, with strong planning and prioritization skills. Details of appointment: Fixed-term full-time, day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible for a period of twelve (12) months. Salary: General Stream, Band 6$107,899 to $122,292 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
