The Southern QLD Centre of Excellence in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care (COE) Metro South Hospital and Health Service is looking for a Project Officer (Identified) Temporary Full-time position to join their team. The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workforce Strategic Framework 2016–2026 aims to increase the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander workforce across all occupations and levels of employment within Queensland Health, supporting the broader economic and social well-being of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Queenslanders. About the Role Coordinate, assist, and provide advice and support for the successful delivery of MSH First Nations Health Equity Strategy, specifically related to Priority Area 1: Actively eliminate racial discrimination and institutional racism within the service. Provide effective administrative and logistical support to the FNHE Team including the coordination of meetings, preparation of agendas, distribution of minutes, record keeping, following up on action items, and other correspondence and report preparation. Manage, monitor, and report on activity and outcomes progress, budgets, and cash flow, and implement best practice guidelines to ensure consistent and quality outcomes are achieved on assigned projects. This is an identified vacancy with a genuine occupational requirement for the position to be filled by a candidate indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community.
